The apples and plate have arrived.  They are magnificent!  I adore them all and have been holding each in my hands in turn.  The apples have far more character and beauty than I imagined, each one so individual.  (The old apple wood is particularly striking.  The  split juniper too -- and the yew with it's broad band of blond wood -- the dark briar with its little knots and the cade with its whorls.  So, you see, it is difficult to choose between them.) They will delight me for ever.  And an extra surprise!  Thank you!  The plate is perfect, a wonderful colour and beautiful in its simplicity.  I will put teak oil on it that I already have for furniture (it is colourless) and then, maybe, bees wax.  All are admirable.  I would be pleased to commission more.  Merci encore!

I am very interested in ordering some of your wooden fruit. I received three of your small fruits already as a gift from a friend and I would like to add more to collection of these beautiful works of art.
I am interested in two of your apples in size n2, two of your apples in size n4, one of your pears in size n2, and one more pear in size n4. The wooden fruit I have so far are in cade wood, but I like all of the woods you use for these fruits so that does not matter to me. My deepest apologies for the delay in writing back--we have been gone! I do
want to go ahead with the $200US order of apples as you suggest. We love the
scars of life, and trust your judgment for sending us the best assortment. I
am sort of partial to the larger apples, but the small ones are also
appealing. I love the idea of the discreet engraving--perhaps for the next
order after this one I will do that. If you will please send me the correct
